NIGHTMARE
by: PB
on Tue, Sep 15 2009
This rocking sensation is a living nightmare. I have had vertigo for the past 20 years but this time it has come back with a vengeance. It started in April of 2006 for this episode and has been around still. Today is September 13 2009 . I have gone to several md. Had 2 ct scans. Ekg Numerous lab test. Blood pressure meds. Diuretics ,vitamins ,numerous antibiotics for the past months nothing is helping. This condition is about to rob me of my career as a nurse. Antivert is absolutely useless. I an scared to try klonopin or valium which they are currently using for vertigo I don’t want to start taking narcotics. I could write a big book on vertigo. My next step is to try to see a good ent who deals with balance issues because deep down I think my dizziness has everything to do with my inner ears. I feel stabbing pain in my ears ever so often. I have lost several days of work. My attendance at work right now is very poor because of vertigo. The only thing I can say is to pray that god takes this nightmare away because the doctors sure don’t how to. I am just praying that one day this dizziness will leave me alone. I really don’t know what else to try. All the vertigo sufferers out there please stay strong. Continue to do you daily task. Hold on to objects when you can. Get your glasses fixed if you wear them. Eat less salt.
