drug induced vertigo

I have drug induced vertigo. I have had it for 3 yrs now and xanex seems to be the only drug that controls the spins or at least enough so that i can function. Some times i wake up and spin in the middle of the night. I just try to take it day by day. I have tried every drug on the market and herbs for this, but only xanex makes it so i can function and retain a drivers license and still work. Antivert never worked. Doctors i have seen state that it is common for a drug addict like myself. The abuse of narcotics for 15yrs caused this and i will have it for the rest of my life. If i do not take the xanex than i have seizures I will always be a drug addict i am in recovery but the effects of abusing drugs for yrs, even legal precriptions caused my vertigo One of many effects i have caused to myself through my addiction. If one person can learn from my mistake as an addict it was worth my story. FYI i woke up one morning after taking 1 80mg oxycotin and taking sleeping pills over the counter to go to sleep. Now i suffer with this everyday. Thanks for letting me share.
