DO THE EXERCISES!

It’s funny but I was doing the opposite of these exercises because I didn’t want to bring on the spinning. Do the exercises every morning. Epley’s Exercises” for Benign Positional Vertigo I have been to the emergency room and to my primary physician many times for Vertigo They had me go through some exercises but they never seemed to help. I finally was able to see my neurolgist yesterday (3/5/09)while I was having Vertigo and he showed me Epley’s exercises which were totally different than anything I was shown before. You will spin a lot and feel awful while you are doing them but this morning I woke up and for the first time in 15 days I did not spin when I got out of bed this morning. The doctor told me to do these exercises every morning and continue to do them 2 weeks after my spinning subsides. Then I can stop. Start doing these exercises as soon as you start feeling the vertigo coming on.

I’ve read many of the experiences and stories that others have posted to this site, and I share many of the same symptoms. I believe that I have a pretty severe case of it.
I was diagnosed with vertigo on Jan.23 of this year and now over six weeks later I still feel the same way, miserable.
