Suffering Imbalance

I have a sense of imbalance which I’ve been experiencing this since july of last year.I am a college instructor in the Philippines. I can not stand straight for a long time, when i walk it seems i am drunk or groggy. I also have lightheadedness, seems like no oxygen is running in my head especially when i am doing the internet. Even if i am sitting down, swaying of my head/body is always.
I feel nervous once i am alone with lack of confidence. If i am a bit hungry, vertigo is very fast. I don’t feel that the world is whirling or spinning, i only have to be offbalance.I am also experiencing shoulder and neck pain then. I already have my temporal bone CT scanned with unremarkable findings only that there’s a minimal mucusal thickening in my right sphenoid sinus thus, sinus treatments were administered. Two months after, my DR had me Xrayed for my PNS, thus everythings normal but the sense of imbalance is still maintained and until now.
I also went to a neuro-psychiatrist with EEG, everything is normal. When, I was 22 years old (now 37), i was diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome in my kidney and had my DR administered me with medications for steroid using prednisone…the dosages were ranged and tapered weekly until everything went normal. But if infections ran through me, i wud again take prednisone and tapered again. til then, i’ve been using prednisone since that is an overthecounter drug in my country. I have also visual disturbances…I did also some massage always and had herbal treatments and bath… What should i do? Please help me…

I’ve had vertigo symptoms off and on for 20 years. Vertigo is a “symptom” not a cause, and I believe there are several causes for vertigo symptoms. After all that I’ve read, I belive that my vertigo is due to changes in the pressue of the fluid in my inner ears.

I was 32 on my first episode which lasted about 10 days with mild balance issues but a really bad brain fart, mixed with extreme muscle weakness, to the point I had no strength to speak. I couldn’t concentrate on anything at all and if I tried, my blood pressure would drop and I’d get dizzy enough to vomit.
