Why did this happen to a 3 year old

Hello, my name is Knesha. I am 19 years old. I remember it like it was yesterday. When my spells first occured, I was 3 years old. It started while I was asleep. I woke up screaming because the whole room was spinning like a rollercoaster. My mother woke up and rushed me to the hospital. Every time I moved my head, heard a noise, or open my eyes the spells came and lasted two minutes each.

Shortly before this happened, my mother had just found out that I was born completely deaf in my right ear. A hearing aide will not help because I have a perfect ear drum but my nerve is so damaged that there is no repair. After this, my sickness comes like clock work every two to three months.

My mother has taken me to over ten different specialists over the years. A few years back, my sickness came about four different times when I was a child. I have had all kinds of testing two or three times. From MRI’s to EKGs, EEGS to CAT scans - all of them came out normal. To this day I still have my spells every two to three months lasting for two days. I am sensitive to movement, my vision is blurred, and I throw up so much until where I have nothing in my stomach left;at this point I throw up the lining of my stomach, mucous. I also have been presribed Amitriptylin, meclizine, cimetidine, etc… praying to God that something will help. Nothing worked at all.

In September I had surgery to correct a damaged cartilage in my nose. The doctor told me I would breathe better and it will help my sickness. It’s been two months and the sickness hasn’t happened. Prayfully that was the solution to my problems after 16 years. None of the specialists knew why this started when I was so young because it usually starts in older adults. Pray for me because I just want to lead a normal life.

Only one doctor told me I have Meinere’s Disease, which I had already knew because I looked it up on the internet. I also have had balance tests, hearing tests, and test where they run warm and cold water in your ear. All came normal except the hearing test.
