To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download vertigo :( When I was 22 years old I was driving on the freeway when all the sudden everything starting spinning in one direction and I couldn’t tell which direction was up. I swerved across all lanes of traffic (fortunately not hitting anyone) and pulled over where it lasted for about 10 more seconds. I was trembling with fear but the spinning stopped and I felt okay. Dr’s did a caloric test which came back normal and they said I just had vertigo Then a couple years later at work I was standing and felt sick so I started to run for the bathroom but passed out on the way. Dr said I had a drop in blood pressure that caused it. Now 26 about 2 months ago I started having off balance feelings. It feels like I’m either on a boat or walking on an airplane. Not really spinning feelings, just movement. 2 days ago at the grocery store I was walking and felt completely fine when all of the sudden everything started spinning to one direction and got darker as I was about to pass out but I took a sharp breath in as I held on to my cart and it got lighter and back to normal and then I felt fine. Shaken of course, but okay. That episode only lasted about 5 seconds but it still feels like I’m walking on a boat. I’m scheduled for a MRI and CT Scan next week and I’m scared. I hate feeling like this and just want it to stop. I’m having constant anxiety over it and now feel depressed Comments
