We use dual monitors at my job, so we can have several programs running and we can jump back and forth. Multi-tasking we call it. I was sitting at my desk on Oct 24, before lunch i started feeling funny. By the time lunch was over the room was spinning, and a severe headache set in. I had someone drive me home, took my blood pressure and it was sky high. I thought i was having a heart attack so I went to the ER. After severel hours of testing they said i had vertigo I followed up the following Monday with my doctor and he ran more test, face xray, MRI MRA and lots of blood work. My problem now is i can’t drive, riding in the car i am okay but if i watch cars go by the dizziness sets in.Sometimes i can’t even watch TV. Bright lights and loud noises trigger my dizzziness and headaches. I love to read, after reading just a couple of pages the dizziness sets in. I have tried just to look at a magazine, flip the pages and i get dizzy.I have been off work now for my third week. This has been very stressfull. My insurance disablity claim was denied, they see nothing that impairs me from doing my job. So now no paycheck, so i am appealing. I have done everything the doctors have told me. I have an eppisode a couple times a day. I am to the point where i guess i am just suppose to live with it and go back to my “normal” life. PS my daughter typed this for me. Comments
