I had my first episode with vertigo on april 26 2008.I didn’t know it at the time but I do now because I was just diagnosed with it 2 weeks ago.anyway,the first time it happened I was waking up on a Saturday morning I raised my head up to see what time it was and got very dizzy.Iput my head back down and laid there for a few minutes,when I decided to get up everything was spinning I laid back down again when the spinnin stopped Igot up slowly walked into the kitchen feeling very weak and my head was fuzzy.A few minutes later i felt fluid coming from my left ear.The rest of the day I did’nt feel well.Ididnt have another episode until 2 weeks ago.This one was much worse.Iwoke up Sun. morning with a fuzzy and nauseated.I didn;t do anything all day but sit in my recliner,and everytime Iwould turn my head Iwould get dizzy. The next day was the worse I was fine in the morning until Idecided to lean over my tub to wash my hair. THE room started spinning I vomited and got the worse headache I have ever had.Imade it to my bed my heart was pounding Ihad tingling in my arms Ithought I was going to die .It was really scary.Anyway I went to the DR. and he said it was vertigo he prescribed meclizine it helps but it makes me tired. During the past 2 weeks Ionly had 2 days that I felt o.k. Today Iwent to the chiropractor for an adjustment .HE thinks it might be something with my immune system and gave me some dietary supplements.Isure hope it helps .Iwill be going on a trip at the end of July does anyone know what I can do if Ihave an episode on the plane?

On May 19th, 2008 I woke up at 1am with severe dizziness, spinning and vomiting. At first I thought I had food poisoning or was having a heart attack I was unable to get out of bed and walk due to the spinning but was able to crawl to the bathroom and vomited on and off for hours.
