To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Living with Dizziness I have been experiencing dizziness in the sense of lightheadedness and instability for over 4 months. Doctors have performed numerous blood tests, heart scan and an MRI of the brain. All results are normal. I have been diagnoised though, as anaemic [anemic] with a blood count of 11.5 and been prescribed iron pills for the next 3 months. Doctors say that my anemia is not bad enough for me to experience this continuous dizziness that I feel. I have stopped driving for fear that I may feel dizzy. I have had dizzy sensations on 2 occassions while driving. I have to return to my job as a bank officer soon and the thought of me going back to work the way I feel scares me. I cant walk a couple of minutes on the street without feeling lightheaded, that I feel my feet want to give way. I notice that I am always looking around for places I can sit while I am at the shopping malls. I keep away from escalators because they make me feel worse when I step off one. I am always holding on to railings when I can find one just to keep me steady. This thing is really frightening me. There are times, I must admit that I feel good and that is when I am lying down with a couple of pillows supporting my head. The less movements that I make, the better I feel, but this really affecting my life because each day I have to deal with this. Is there anyone out there who is going through what I am going through? Please contact me. I am a 41 year old female that is so depressed. Comments
