To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Living With The Agony Of Trigeminal Neuralgia I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia over 5 yrs ago while pregnant with my son. Considering my current condition, there wasn’t much they could do for me for treatment, so I was given an anti-seizure medication called Tegretol. I did not have any other attacks for 3 yrs after that. Then my life drastically changed. I started having attacks that lasted for days at a time, then weeks at a time and the Tegretol no longer helped. The doctors decided to do Micro vascular Decompression surgery, which was unsuccessful. I had the attacks immediately following surgery. I am now waiting a date to have the Cyberknife procedure done. Its been such a hard experience on myself and my family. I just hope this next procedure helps. Wish me luck!! Comments
