To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download How long does it take? I fell in July 1004 and hit the back of my head on the door frame of a motorhome. I went to see my doctor, walk in clinics, ERs, etc repeatedly for over two months. I had a headache 24/7 and the sunlight hurt my eyes. After two and a half months I finally was given a CT because I was staggering when I walked. All of a sudden it was rush rush and I was in surgery for a chronic and an acute subdural hematomas. It has been over four years now and I still don’t have a clue how to cope with all that the surgery has left me. I am always in a state of confusion, I am emotionally stunted, continually depressed. I have trouble doing simple math, I have to think twice about almost everything I am doing and how to do it. I get angry easily, I have less motivation than a slug. The list goes on. I don’t know what to do with myself. The Brain Injury Societies are no help. What do others do to live like this? Comments
