Matt was hit by a car in 1995. We have been taking care of him at home for the past 11 years. He can’t walk or use his arms and hands. He is totally dependent upon us, his parents. He can barely speak. For the last 4 years he has been accusing his mother of having sex with any man she comes in contact. It happens with men at church, men in the family, including my son-in-law. He gets very angry and calls them names I don’t care to repeat. He even calls his mother a slut and a whore. I stay on pins and needles around anyone afraid he is going to go into one of his tirades. So far, no medication has helped. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks

- everything going for her - by ELW - (Sun, Oct 28 2007)
my daughter is 16 yrs old. A* pupil, good looking, can wear anything and look good. She jumped from a 3rd floor bedroom window because of bullying…how dare they!… at the moment she is doing okay, responding to questions and to directions. We have a sort of conversation that lasts about 1 minute and then she needs to rest.

- my baby (nearly 5 months old) fell off my bed - by lisa - (Mon, Oct 22 2007)
im worried sick, my child rolled off the bed, i heard her hit the floor, she cried but i calmed her straight away. there was no visible damage i.e bruises, bumps, cuts e.t.c but im so worried wondering if there could be any damage to the brain. she was ok for a day and a half, fed ok and slept ok, but now she seems distant, staring a lot, not focusing, as well.

- the worst day of my life - by Krystal - (Fri, Oct 19 2007)
I was driving to work and i cant remember what happened, only what I was told. But being a diabetic I experienced hypoglycmia [hypoglycemia]. My sugar dropped to 30, I passed out, my foot hit the gas at 90 mph, my scion flipped over and I hit a dodge ram. Flipped him over.
My airbags never deployed. I broke my neck, jaw, ribs, my lung collapsed and I had brain damage from my head smashing off my steering wheel. i was in a comma [coma] for 4 weeks. I was in the hospital for 6 weeks. I was sent to a rehabilitation center. At the time I couldn’t use my right side. I was in a wheel chair.
Now, I walk without any assistance but my right arm is very weak and I lost some of my voice.

my dad fell 12 feet out of his attack almost 2 months ago. He suffered bilateral frontal contusions. He awoke after 2 or 3 days, during which time he talked with us (not always remebering us) and fed himself.
