To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Life after a brain injury My name is Mike and I am recovering from a traumatic brain injury that occurred when a horse that I trained and was riding ran off with me and fell when crossing a paved road. I went down with the horse and hit my head on the road. I can only guess this because I don’t remember any of it and nobody saw it happen. I was found laying on the side of the road unconscious and flown to a shock trauma hospital. It has now been 13 months since my accident and I still have trouble with my balance and can’t walk well at all. I have a wife and 3 kids who have been very patient with me and my recovery, but I am getting a little frustrated with the situation. I would love to hear from someone who has been through the same injury with the same results and now is living a normal life. Comments
