    My name is Mike and I am recovering from a traumatic brain injury that occurred when a horse that I trained and was riding ran off with me and fell when crossing a paved road. I went down with the horse and hit my head on the road. I can only guess this because I don’t remember any of it and nobody saw it happen. [more..]
  • My nephew fell from a motorcycle - by SSR - (Wed, Aug 15 2007)
    My nephew fell from a motor cycle two weeks back, the one time he did not wear a helmet. He fell on his head, did not have any bruises on his body, but got severe head injury. The doctors had to open his skull and scrape/clean up the clotted blood. He is still in the intensive care. It looks like there was some swelling and drainage in the brain this week. He is only 21 yrs old and it’s heart-breaking to see this happen. I will continue updating his progress. [more..]
