We were told he had a 2% chance of survival and of that even less of a change to recover to any sort of normal life. Well, let me just say that just a little over 2 years later, my husband showes very little signs of being so close to death. He loves sharing his story of recovery. Although he speaks slower then he did once and chooses his words carefully, he is very articulate. Bobby wasn’t given much professional therepy, we didn’t have insurance, but you know we all managed to do whatever needed to be done. Right now his only real struggle is relearning how to read. But we turn that into a game also. There is life after a TBI and there is always hope for recovery. We would like to help others that are now where we were. Thank you. Comments
