To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Severe Head Injury - My Recovery I suffered a closed head injury by falling 10 feet and landing on asphalt. The back of my head hit the pavement. I suffered mulitple brusing of the brain. I lost all sense of smell and taste, suffered emotional trauma and had a feeling that I was in fact not myself. It gets better over time. Taste recovers, some odors I can smell although I cannot smell a rose or a skunk. The latter I don’t mind not smelling. The brain heals very slowly and I am still having mental issues associated with the trauma. You learn to re-teach yourself things you thought you had forgotten. Comments
