My miracle story

When I was about 11 or 12 years old i was signing up for cheerleading. Well when you do that you need a physical. So about 2 or 3 weeks later i went to a medical center. I failed my eyes test and I told my docter I was having a droop on the right side of my face my docter said it was a case of Bell’s palsy. I was ok after the docter told me that.

When i failed my eye exam i went to the eye docters about 2 or 3 weeks later. So, he looked behind my eyes and starts nodding his head. My mom was with me and said whats wrong. My docter said there is fluid on her brain and if I can see it it is quite a large amount of it. So the docter said i should see another docter called a physiologist in the morning. I was sure what it was called but we (me and my mom and sister shannon) went out to eat because it was like 7:00 at night. We went to a resturant for subs. While we were eating we got a call from my stepdad Chuck. He said we have to come home docters were calling off and on. So My eye docter must have called the other docter the physiologist my eye docter told us to call. So me, my mom, and sister wrapped up our subs and headed home. Then suddenly my stepdad called again and said dont come home just go to the hospital. So we turned around and headed there. I was eating the rest of my sub up there because I was hungry. My mom and my sister were nervous, scared, and just worried what those docters were gunna say. When we got there we went to the emergency room it was now about 10:00 at night. Me and my sister were playing around in wheel chairs to let time go by. They called me in the cold room.

That split second my heart stopped for a minute. I was scared the docters took me in for a MRI. They injected an IV in my arm. They put all kinds of medicine in my arm to inject the medicine. It took along time for the MRI After that they took me behind the big black windows to the computers. I saw the pictures they took of inside my head. The another docter gave me a beanie babie and told me be strong I told her ok. I saw my mom tearing and my sister rubbing her back. I look at the computer screen and i saw a large ball in my head. I ask what it was they meaning my mom and docters told me it was a large cancerous brain tumor on my serabellum. After that night i didnt leave the hospital for 3 months. My whole life change in a minute just like that….

I lost my best friend because she told me i was different i lost my hair i lost my weight i lost my ability to walk, talk, eat, go to the bathroom use any physical part of my body the docters and my surgen told me if i didnt see my eye docter that day i would of died, nothing would of brought me back to life. After i recovered it was like i got a second chance to live and start my life over……………………………………………………

Now im 16 and going threw tough times but get threw it. I have a best friend named Desiree and people who pray and love me and MY BEAUTIFUL MOTHER I LOVE MADLY AND CARE ABOUT HER MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF AND im just plain HAPPY!!!!
