To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download 09/04/2007 at 9:25 a.m. My 77 year old mother was found down in her bedroom stiff with her vision, both eyes frozen to the left & unable to respond or move. My father called my sister, who called 911. taken to the Emergency room & taken to CT Scan with diagnosis middle cerebral anterior artery infarction. After discussing what was a necessary treatment with TPA with a window of time of 3 hours. The time was 11:30 & we were running out of time for the medication to even make a difference. After 6 hours, my mother’s vision was no longer looking to the left side but her cognitive was intact. Today she is in Rehab & remains unable to speak with right hemipersis. Rehab is now our goal with spech, occapational & physical therapy we hope to one day hear my mother’s lovely voice. My mother is 5 foot 3 inches, 129 pounds. Who walked 5-6 miles a day, Comments
