Only 4 Hrs A Day Of Sleep

My husband can only sleep for 4 hours a day..even when taking Lunesta. He is also on Wellbutrin. Takes Vicoprofen for chronic lower back problems. He also works 3rd shift. His sleep problem has been on going for about 10 years. Last 3-5 years has gotten worse. If he goes too many days without enough sleep, he has a type of mental breakdown and will just crash - sleeps for 8 hours. It takes a lot out of a relationship / family. I have just started looking into options / tips / any kind of help.
