To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My Life with Siezures I am a 53 yr. old male . I have a small construction company . I operate a crane, to ironwork , operate heavey equipment and am a firefighter. four years ago I had a Grand Mal siezure out of the blue. I was transported to the hospital were to stop the siezure I was put into a coma. Two days later I woke up and did not know what had taken place. I was put on dilatn and adjusted to the drug well . Two years later I messed up on doseing and had one more siezure. after that was strightend out . My dose was incressed. The normal effects of the drug were more pronouncrd but I got back to my orignal dose and life is good. Memory is a little effected and I am more careful as a little stabilty is affected but working with My doctor and All the people I work with there is no problem with my proformace compaired to to others . I contunie to serve on our fire deptmentas the probilty of someone having a hart attack is greater then my risk of a siezure. I am lucky. If possably don’t let this stop you from living . An old boss of mine had controled sizures and was a pilot. Just use good judgement and live a full life. Comments
