I have had seizures for 5 yrs now and have been on 9 different medications to control them, which hasnt worked. I also have had the vagus nerve stimulator implanted. I still have many seizures and am now considering surgery of the brain. I have 4 children that have suffered with my illness along with me, and I look to them for support and strength. This disease has robbed me of any type of normalcy in my life and put me into a state of depression that I battle daily. My only hope is that eventually I will get this disease under control, and gain my life back. I feel badly complaining about this illness that I have only had for several years. I cannot imagine what kids go through having it from childhood on.
