To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download seizure The first time i had a seizure i did not know i woke up with my tounge chewed up, that happened a few times then i went to a Dr. and showed him my tounge he did not know what it was caused from. Then a couple weeks later i woke up in an ambulance i guess i had a seizure in my sleep and my husband at the time called 911. My seizures lasted about three years i was on a few different medications untill i found one i was’nt alergic to which was depakote and the medication worked i would have one every so often then i had a lot of weight gain from the medication and switched to keppra which i liked relly well. I only had one seizure while i was awake and fell and hit my head other than that all were in my sleep i would know because of my tounge. After i devoriced my seizures were gone i kept taking the medication for two years then i remarried and became pregnat so i tapered down off the medication. My son just turned six and i have not had a seizure in over eight years, my thoughts and my dr’s is maybe my seizures were stress related i may never know i just know it was hard not knowing when a seizure onset would come and i still do to this day wonder if im completly over them or will they come back.
