RSD/CRPS

I was diagnosed with RSD/CRPS 1 and have been on crutches for 18months I can’t walk on my left foot atall. I have had the sympathetic block and 5 day ketemine infusion. I found when l was on the ketemine infusion it did help a bit but the block hardly did much atall.

l have been on Endep which l take 2-3 at night with 3-4 nurofen to put me to sleep. l have just started hydrotherapy and l am starting physiotheraphy and l really hope that works to get me of the crutches. l have read most of the other story’s and can relate to all of them, my left ankle suddenly went over and l fell down straight onto it damaging my ligements and fracturing my talus bone fortunally this was workcover but unfortunally l got a bad case worker who took a disliking to me so l didn’t get any treatment for 15months which has leed to the CRS. My doctor is going to implant a spinal cord stimulator which l do know works because l have previousally had one implanted for disc injury this was removed so l could have a MRI scan. They are also going to give me the ketimine infusion again. l have just started on lyrica 150mg and hoping they help.So that is what l’ve had so far and of course you need to stay positive because stress and negitive thinking will make the condition WORSE!
l hope this will help.
