There is hope in Orlando

****You are going to love this****
For the past 2 1/2 years I have suffered with multiple blood clots (DVT)s. I stopped counting them this past November, I had 30 (DVT)s at that time. I had a horde of doctors trying to figure out why I clott so much. To my sadness, not the first doctor in this town could come up with a reason that made any since. I would average at least 2 addmissions per month to the hospital, due to blood clotts. Somewhere around eight(8) months ago, my pain thresshold went thro the roof, and the doctors could not explain it. In fact, I had gone to Florida Hospital, and the E.R. doctor said that there was nothing he could do for me–my left leg was five(5) inches larger, than my right, and I was burning up with a fever and not only was my left leg puffy (putting it midly),my leg also had started changing colors, red to purple to off black. With my history of (DVT)s, the doctor didn’t even run a doppler, to rule out the possibilty of a new clott.

My level of pain was thro the roof, my eyes were misty, because it hurt so bad. The E.R. doctor, could not find any reason to treat me, or admitt me, he did what he always does, he kicked me out of the E.R. without any treatment what so ever. I had been to Florida Hospitals E.R., on two(2) pervious vists, had the same doctor, and on those visits he did what he always does, he kicked me out, because he couldn’t find anything wrong. My regular doctor (hemotology) still couldn’t understand the reasons for me clotting, nor for the amount of pain I was having. I think he thought that I was making it up (the amount pain). Pain to the tenth degree, can not be faked–period–.

***** Now to the present***** I was just released, this week from O.R.M.C. (a hospital). I went to the hospital with tenth degree pain, serve swelling of my left leg and another blood clott(DVT). The doctor that was treating me was just out of medical school, by 5 whole weeks. It took her the total of 15 to 20 minutes, to diagnose me with CRPS type 2 for RSD Not the first single doctor, that was/had treated me, could come up with, or expain why I was in tenth degree pain(ALL THE TIME). I was walking -barely- around for all most 2 years with all most unbearable pain, put up with doctors who questioned the pain I was in, and even doctors who kicked me out of their E.R., because they thought I was faking. It took a doctor (from O.R.M.C.) fresh out of school to diagnose part of my medical problems.

I am just dumb founded, that I had to live with that kind of pain for so long. Now I am being refered to a pain specialist, and hopfully they can get this pain under control, and maybe I can get some of my life back. O.M.R.C. rules.
