cycle of pain

my name is susan i have been diagnosed with rsd in my left foot after i fractured it. I have had several lower lumbar injections, physical therapy, and am still dealing daily with pain. Some days i feel almost normal other days the pain is so bad that i end up in the emergency room where they give me morphine by i.v. which only takes the edge off. My next step is the trial stimulator and if that doesnt work surgery.

I really so not want any of these last two procedures because i am scared that they wont work and i will be depressed all over again.I still work a full time job as a nurses assistant some days i feel almost normal other days i just dont even want to exist.I am so angry what did i ever do to deserve this?i want my old life back the one where i didnt wake up every day and have to waint for my pain medicine to kick in and some days when the pain is so bad watching the clock to see when i can have more pain meds.

I want the life where i enjoyed being around my daughter and husband.I miss the family outings, parties, shopping sprees etc.etc.etc. then you have where loud noises bother you loud music sometimes just the phone ringing seems to drive me insane at times.but day by day i keeping moving cause i know if i stop i will never walk again. If anyone out ther has any ideas, drs. any info. for god i would appreciate it. just to talk to someone who understands what im going thru.would be great!! Thanks for reading my story.
