A MINOR SURGERY

I had alot of discomfort in my right foot,it felt like i had a rock in my foot.I went to a foot doctor and to make a long story short he said i had a small tumor in between my toes.I had the surgery and found out by his own words that he misdiagnosed.After 3 weeks i was allowed to walk on my foot and i still had the same pain. I went to another doctor and told him the story and at that point i started experiencing odd stabbing pains and burning. He xrayed and found what the problem was to begin with which was a piece of bone loose in my foot that was caused years before from a break.
After talking and alot of tests he told me i have r.s.d. PLEASE know that i had no insurance from the get go. Now my conditioned has gotten worse and i am still in my surgical boot from the surgery Feb.14 2008.I am told that he cant and wont do the surgery because it will progress the r.s.d. I lost my job and very little means of support.No doctor will touch me and each and every day i suffer do to my first doctors misdiagnosed. The first doctor removed my fourth knuckle joint for no reason and left the nerves exposed.
I can no longer do the things i used to do and i am no longer even allowed to drive. At the age of 46 my life has changed drastically.My foot burns to the point that i cry,the stinging and stabbing pains are at times unbearable,at times the stabbing pains are so bad i scream because it feels like somebody stabbed me with a knife.My ankle and leg are weak and achs constantly,i have many many sleepless nights.R.S.D has changed my life forever and doctors know very little about it.I am on many medications that i cant even affored and to top it all off the meds. are not even working. The doctor can do very little except put me on pain meds.to help me sleep. I am not one to complain and do very little when i do but at times i could scream and ask for any one to help.My family has been my rock,but at times they are no help i can only stay quite so i do not worry them.

Does it ever stop! I am a nurse and was working in a nursing home and of course short staffed. I was helping with rounds at night and lifted a patient back into a wheelchair to prevent a fall. I felt a pain in my shoulder and after three surgeries later developed RSD that took over my right arm.

I too have facial RSD. My came about after nose surgery. I broke my nose in two places and required surgery. After surgery, my forehead was extremely swollen and I could not move my right eyebrow. I was in excruciating pain for years.
