I Just Want My Life Back

Back in June 2008, I fell in our local grocery store and I felt moderate pain immediately but was thinking oh well, I will take a hot shower and some motrin and things will be better. Needless to say, it didn’t. My legs and feet swole up like Eddie Murphy’ in the Nutty Professor. I have since had 4 injections in my spine, IV infusion (which literally put my legs to sleep for 3 days), spinal injection of a stimulator in my sympathethic nerve that kept me vibrating. I hated it.

Since then, they have asked that opt for a permanent implant of the stimulator. I am not looking forward to that but the Dr. seems to think that this is the next and only resolve. Since this all happened, I am on pain meds,Percocet, Duragesic patch, Lyrica, and getting no results. I am constantly in pain and now feel like my leg has a grand spike pushing through it constantly which impedes my ability to walk. I am unable to sleep straight through the night and now have to take Ambien which leaves me very loopy the next day. My memory is slipping and all I cry out for is MY LIFE BACK AGAIN~ If you have had the stimulator implant please let me know how that turned our for you.
