To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My RSD story I have R.S.D with Rhuematoid [Rheumatoid] Arthritis and Fibromyalgia to name a couple of my severe conditions (all developed from a fall on ice). I broke my left ankle on February 1, 2003. It is December 25, 2008, no one can see it and no one will believe you until you find a good doctor who truly listens to your cries for help. By the time I found a doctor to help me with my R.S.D was Dec. 2005. I had suffered for so long I couldn’t take anyone touching me. People thought I was going crazy or it was all in my head. I wouldn’t stop asking for help and doctors/emergency rooms kept turning me away. I protected my left leg as if it were a brand new precious baby, I could not take vibrations, loud noise, stomping, clapping loud voices, unexpected noises, motorcycles or loud vehicles going by, too much cold nor too much heat! My pain was uncontrollable, unbearable, unreal and unbelieveably severe. You know your body, don’t stop until you get the help you need. If your doctor doesn’t help you, leave them or ask them to refer you to a specialist(neurologist). It will only get worse and worser. My body hurts somewhere everyday. The day I wake feeling good. I’m so far behind on my life, daily tasks, chores, and business, I try to do so much and I end up over doing it and I’m back screwed up again. If you have people to help you ask them and make sure you ask them on your worse days so they can see how this disorder immobilizes you seriously and it’s not a joke or a game. People never know until it happens to them. I used to never have a pain in the world, now everyday I suffer in some way from 1 of my conditions. I am not the same person and I have learned I never will be! This disorder will drive you crazy because its so complex and a lot of doctors are not familiar with it! Don’t suffer like I did fight for your health because if you don’t no one else will! Comments
