To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download RSD I have Multiple Sclerosis, & Degenerative Disc disease in which I have had 1 cervical fusion and 4 lumbar fusions. Several months ago, I also work in a bank and have carpal tunnel, my right shoulder started hurting and kept getting worse to the point where I can not cut my food, brush my teeth, lift anything, or raise my right arm. My lower emg was fine, my upper showed carpal tunnel in both wrists and a pinched nerve in my C7 neck. Before the pain would come and go in my shoulder over the course of about 2 years but now as I said, the pain is horrific and getting worse. I’ve read about RSD and am now wondering if this could be a cause. I know I have other things going on; many other things; that could be causing this including my neck. However, if I go through another cervical fusion and it doesn’t fix the problem, what then? I’m right handed to begin with which is where they did the first of 2 carpal tunnel surgeries and I still won’t be able to use my right arm. Could the fact that I have MS and spinal problems be causing RSD and no one is detecting it? I do see my Neurologist in 2 weeks and will ask what he thinks in between seeing my back surgeon and hand surgeon I’ve just been through so much and have kept a good attitude through all of everything and unfortunatly have developed a high tolorance for pain but this, is getting to be too much to bear. I take oxycotin every 4 hours and it doesn’t touch the pain and I am really at a loss. Any guidance or suggestions on what to ask my Drs. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Comments
