Hi my name is amy, I am a 40yr old female from pennsylvania, back in 2005, I wolk one morning unable to step down on my foot, i of course called my doctor and was sent to see a foot specialist he diagnosed me with severe planter faciatis [fasciitis], at the time or should say prior to the surgery i was a supervisor in a shipping room standing on my feet in sometimes the same place for hours, so the doctor decieded to try injections in my foot, if you ever had those they hurt extremely, well they would last for 2 days then it stopped working all together so i decieded the next best thing is to release the planter faciatis by surgery what a mistake, since then i have had so much pain my foot swells,my skin in the winter is cold to the touch like i had it in the freezer for hours turns purple and in the summer it turns beet red swelling causing pain to go up my leg to my lower buttocks, which now they say i have a pinched nerve in my lower back along with one in the middle to boot, the pain never goes away my legs fall asleep with the tingling of needles alot, i have been through numberous of tests, and to pain centers (which i feel are useless) my main doctor states even though the test do not show rsd i have every symptom of it, it has made me into a person i do not like, i am very mean when i hurt my goodness the medication i take is unbarable to my stomach which now has caused problems there, i just can’t seem to win either way i go, is there anything to ease the pain, and i would give anything just to sleep 6hrs straight without waking up do to pain.

Hi, I am a 47-year-old female who had a radical mastectomy in 2004 (breast and lymph node removal) on the left side. I was warned to be careful with my left arm (not have blood pressures, needle sticks, etc.) and really had no problems until last fall (2007) when I tripped going up a few steps and banged into the door jam with my left arm.
