Periodic Limb Movement while Sleeping

My sleep partner developed Periodic Limb Movement while sleeping (PLMS) but it has recently gone away. Some things he changed just before it stopped:
- A naturopath recommended he increase protein to 60 g per day and increase thiamine and B-6.
- His regular doctor switched two of his medications:
- Paxil was replaced by valium for anxiety
- His blood pressure medicine (HCTZ) was supplemented with Lisinopril.

Unfortunately this is far from a controlled experiment but one of these factors, or some combination, may have contributed to the end of his periodic limb movement. He thinks it may have been the Paxil (side effects are known to include seizures convulsions, tremors muscle stiffness or twitching, etc). I think his twitching and kicking may have been related to high blood pressure (the movement would be much more intense after a salty dinner and then symptoms would gradually decrease throughout the night).
