Sleeping with a constant spas

by: Cindy on Mon, Feb 11 2008

I am engaged, and yes, in love, so a little late to rethink the whole, “can I really live with this forever?” thing. We recently moved in together, and sleeping has been horrible if not impossible. We lived an hour away & used to see each other on wknds, so it wasn’t too noticeable before, since a couple glasses of wine would knock me 0ut completely.

Now, if I don’t want to drink every night, after a couple hours of deep sleep, he constantly moves his legs and arms and rolls over. I’m a very light sleeper (and already take something for sleep) and wake up EVERY time he moves. I just can’t sleep and it’s getting very upsetting. He says there’s nothing he can do because he’s sleeping during the whole thing. There has to be something or am I destined to sleep in a separate bed from the man I love or just never get more than 2 hours? He’s unwilling to take any medicine unless he’s positive it won’t mess with his antidepressants and even then I’m not sure since he’s a hypochondriac. There has to be some natural recipe for some relief! Please somebody!
