Take a hot bath

by: Brandy on Mon, Aug 06 2007

I have RLS and I have not had to take any medication for it yet. What seems to relieve the feeling for me is soaking my legs in extremely hot water for about 10 minutes, and stretching my muscles. I have also noticed that taking Promethazine causes my RLS to act up, and for a few days after ingesting it. I have read that this drug can interact with Cymbalta which I am also taking.

I was finally diagnosed with RLS and put on Neurontin. It was terrible. The medication eased some of the symptoms, but I was unable to function during the day. I would fall asleep and felt like I was “walking into walls”. [more..]
