To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My Father, the reluctant Patient My father was a surgeon, diagnosed about 2.5 years ago with Parkinsons. He will not do anything to help himself, including taking his medicine correctly. He is becoming increasingly violent, and today, he attacked me. He hit me twice in the face, and scratched me in the scalp. He has never been a nice man, but he is accusing my mother and I of “brainwashing” my daughter against him, and says alot to hurt both of us. I cannot take his abuse, mostly because I suffered a brain injury two years ago myself, and he hit me hard enough to make my head really ache. Is there documentation of violence by Parkinsonism patients? Comments
