Parkinson Botox Therapy For Drooling

My husband had Parkinsonism, so had many of the same characteristics as Parkinsons. On Jan. 14, 2005 he had 6 botox injections into his salivary glands to control his drooling. Within 2 days he could not swallow at all. He was admitted to the hospital and had a PEG tube placed for feeding. For some unknown reason he vomitted, and since he could not swallow, he aspirated and then developed pneumonia A few days later he passed away. This was 16 days after the botox injections.
