Did’t think anything of it until it happened several times more during the next week. Once in the middle of the night it woke me up. I went to the doctor this past Tuesday and he sent me for a ultra sound of my leg to rule out Deep Vein Thrombosis. My doctor called to tell me there were no clots and that it was neuropathy and the next step would be an EMG which he said was painful. He wanted me to take 600mg of Advil three times a day for the next week. Friday it changed and the pain started again in the afternoon and went all night on an off like when a muscle twitches, very painful and distracting. It comes on so sudden it catches your breath. I am also feeling aches on and off in the rest of my leg and other parts of my body. I was able to get some sleep and yesterday I was Ok but today it woke me up. I plan on calling the doctor tomorrow first thing to set up the EMG, I am just trying to find out all I can on this condition. I am not a diabetic, I had no injury, no back pain but I did have surgery in May for a Large kidney stone on the right side of my body. I wonder if that could have anything to do with this. Comments
