To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Neuropathy Related to Velcaid Help! My dad, 67 years old, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma last year. He was being treated with both Revlimid and Velcaid and was having excellent results until it started causing neuropathy in his feet and legs. He is in constant discomfort, can’t sleep, and is now walking with a cane for balance. His cancer doctor doesn’t seem to be paying the attention to this that it deserves. He was taken off his cancer meds in order to try to help the neuropathy which increases the possibility of the cancer coming back! I desperately want to help my father find some relief for this condition. Through surfing the internet, I’ve seen a wide variety of suggestions…he tried the B vitamin supplements, no result, I’ve seen coconut oil, Lyrica, infusion, Neurontin, Lydocaine…..tons of suggestions but very little discussion of what has worked. Any help/direction would be so much appreciated. Thank you! Comments
