To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Peripheral Polyneuropathy In August 2007, I noticed my feet tingling one Thursday night. Within 1 day, I went completely numb from the stomach down for seven months, lost about 60 pounds and spent my days in a wheelchair, my skin too sensitive to touch. The doctors determined I had a toxin-based Neuropathy, non-Diabetic. Even though the toxin was never determined, I eventually started walking again, and in July 2008, the Neuropathy was only in my dominant right hand. February 2009 came along and I went for a checkup. No blood or physical tests showed any signs of toxins or Neuropathy yet here I am in May with my right hand almost completely numb and “heavy” and it steadfastly spreading into my left hand. I have not been diagnosed with Guilliane-Barre Syndrome and doctors feel nothing else is wrong. Luckily though, nerve damage does heal and my legs are as they were. Comments
