In July of this summer I underwent video assisted thoracic surgery to remove a mass from my left lung. Because of the way the surgeons had to position me {my left arm above my head during surgery} I now have nerve damage in my left arm. I saw a neurologist in august after repeated calls to my surgeon saying something was wrong. I started to notice that my arm never regained it’s feeling. Numbness, tingling, heaviness, loss of grip were becoming most intolerable to take. The neurologist said that my nerves were stretched during surgery, and that I may eventually may, or may not get full feeling, and use of my arm back. Comments
