My problem started about 6 months ago when I woke up in the middle of the night and felt like the left side of my lower body was completely numb. I went to an Urgent care Center and of course they thought I was crazy because…in their words, I am too young to be having a stroke or blood clots, I don’t have any of the risk factors or symptoms of heart problems, and I appear to be in very good health. So, the numbness turned to pain by the middle of that day. I have since gone to 4 different doctors who have all been baffled by this issue. The pain occurs mostly at night and feels like pin pricks sometimes and other times a dull aching. The pain has also progressed to my right side. I mostly have the pain in my hands, feet, and calves. On bad nights, the pain is also in my thighs and forearms. I seem to have this problem mostly when am sitting or lying down. I am 32 and definitely a little over weight (about 20 to 30 pounds). Other than suffering from seasonal allergies I have no other health issues. I do not drink or smoke. Comments
