What a Real Pain

I was diagnosed with neuropathy in April of 2007 and carpal tunnel syndrome. Trying to find a physician with this knowledge is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. Usually they know about carpal tunnel but not neuropathy The surgery for cts and ulnar release did not work very well, the pain is still in my wrist and spreading to my elbow. I came down with a severe frozen shoulder and 8 weeks later had shoulder cuff surgery as well as removal of the “Hook” and shaving off 1cm to relieve an impingment and shoulder manipulation.

It seems that the more surgeries I have the worse the neuropathy pain gets in my right hand, wrist and arm. I take lyrica 3xday. The Pain Doctor is very knowledgeable and he says that it will only get worse. I will be looking for work in about July because of the rehabilitation for the surgery on my shoulder. This disease needs to be opened up more to the public. I have helped two of my friends who had symptoms and one has diabetic neuropathy ad the other has auto immune neuropathy. I am glad that I could help them with this culprit.
