Burning and tingling all over

by: LILIA on Sun, Oct 28 2007

I am suffering from burning pain in my feet, legs, arms and face. Even my tongue and gums are affected. The pain is getting worse as time goes by and I am feeling at a pretty low ebb. I cannot walk far as my feet are far too painful and I can’t bear wearing shoes when my feet are burning and it is difficult to relax once at home as the pain is so intense.

Unfortunately blood tests have not shown the cause. I have just stopped taking my Liptor [Lipitor] medication for high cholesterol and at first I thought there were signs of improvement but a couple of days later the pain returned with a vengence. I want to know what’s causing this so I can receive treatment but sadly I feel irreversible damage will be caused before the doctors here get to the bottom of this.
