To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download NEUROPATHIES & RHEUMATISM After having an adverse reaction to a tetanus vaccine, I developed neuropathies and Polymyalgia Rheumatica. My entire body is affected with inflammation in muscles and nerves. My doctor for Polymyalgia Rheumatica (fancy word for many muscles) has put me on prednisone. I take a lesser dose than prescribed as the prednisone makes me very sick to my stomach. Consequently, I am left to bear the residual pain. No one, but no one, seems to want to address the neuropathies. They are in my arms, wrists, hands, my legs, feet, ankles, knees, etc. My entire body is affected by both diseases and is never still. None of this has changed since I was first diagnosed a year ago. I cannot sleep for the muscular pain or the throbbing, aching, tingling, burning and sharp, shooting pains in my body. I am also restless in bed with arms and legs actually flailing. At 5:29 a.m. I am filling out this blank form after being in an out of bed since midnight. I am constantly tired. I’ve been told that this will never go away. However, I am determined to find help from one source or another. May we all find good health solutions. Comments
