Hello, my name is stephanie I, have a very interesting story to tell. . I, have neurofibromatosis NF1 diagnosed in 1986 at the age of 39. no one ever knew what was wrong with me until one day I, went with my then wife now best friend and son to Baylor College of Medicine in Houston , Dr Vincent ricardi gave me the complete report and diagnosis of this horrable and dreaded disease, That was coupled with yet another disorder. transexualism so now I, am batteling both transexualism and neurofibromatosis

The tumors are located all over my body. Finally I, am having them removed one at a time. there must be about 1,00 of them yet they are very small and some hardly noticeable seems like one is removed and four come back. ,but I will not let this disease stop me from living and pursueing my ultimate goal which I, accomplished March of 2005. ( a sexual - re-assignment - Male to Female. .who knows what they might have in common, all I know is my feelings to become feminized began when I, was 4 years old or probably less. ( I HAVE 3 sisters ) none have NF my story is complicated and interesting imagine my central nervious system, but I, am a survivor and seek yet another dream regardless of my condion NF and MTF to share my story and live my life with someone with simular problems NFand FTM no man is an island and we must learn to love and accept everyone. thanks for reading my story. Love stephanie
