undiagnosed conditions

by: stephanie on Wed, May 28 2008

my story is my sons. He is 9 and we have been searching for over 2 years to come to a definitive diagnosis for his muscle myopathy. We have been going to a childrens rehabilitation clinic and done a muscle biopsy. I worry about his prognosis. He plays and does all activities that boys his age do. He just is slower and falls alot and sometimes he has bouts of stiffness it seems in his hips. He went to MD summer camp last year and is so excited about doing it again this summer, but MD asscociation called me and said without a “proper MD diagnosis” he will not be able to go to camp this year.
