To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Myasthenia Gravis? My name is Dr. Asad Qamar from Karachi Pakistan. I am doctor and for the last 6-7 years, I am having ptosis on my right eye along with diplopia and sometimes headache. I have no other problems. I have gone through series of tests including MRI brain, HRCT chest, EMG, NCV, Single-fiber EMG, Tensillon test, anticholesterase antibodies; but all these tests are negative. On examination by neurologist here in Aga Khan Hospital Karachi, DR. Nadir Ali Syed, he found weakness in my illiopsoas muscle (thigh) on right side. On examination he was sure that I am having myasthenia gravis but when all these tests become negative then he was saying that may be I am having any kind of mitochondrial disease. I am really worried about this, I am lacking confidence as I am ptosis which usually aggravates as the day progress or when I take less sleep. Please guide me what should I do. Thank you Comments
