I woke up with double vision, could not speak very well and couldn’t swallow liquids without choking. My daughter took me to the doctor as she thought I was having a stroke The doctor agreed and put me in the hospital immediately, where I was eventily diagnosed with myasthenia gravis (MG). My eyes were both paralized and I counldn’t move them up or down or from side to side. The headaches were bad, bad and I found that ice packs at the back of my neck helped when I set up in a recliner and sometimes a heating pad on the bottom of my feet helped also. When you are struggling for relief you will try anything. The muscle weakness is what I am having difficulty with at the present time and my breathing gets labored when I get to tired. Mostly at the end of the day. But I do have a few good days now and then. Comments
