To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download I have MS it does not have me… I was diagnosed with MS in August 1999 when I woke up to a paralized right leg. I have since learned to deal with the symptoms though not always easy. I found that your outlook on life has alot to do with your quality of life when dealing with a chronic illness. I have had depression, nerve damage in my leg, arm, and hand. I have hearing problems in my right ear I also have concentration and short term memory problems and just today I was diagnosted with CTS (carpal tunnel syndrome) Maybe I should stay away from the computer-Haha. But it could be so much worse. I watched my mother in law fight lung cancer (stage 4) for 3 1/2 years, you could ask her how she was doing and no matter what she would say “WONDERFUL”. Wow what strength she had. She passed away last month. She fought a good fight. The doctor originally gave her 9 months to live and GOD gave her 3 1/2 years. This lady went parasailling (sorry for the spelling), she experienced life to its fullest not knowing what tommorrow would bring. If you are dealing with an illness do not give up and try to have a good outlook on life. It can be hard at times I KNOW but just remember it could always be worse and life is too short to get caught up in self pity….God Bless… Comments
