To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Undiagnosed Leg muscle pain and movement For 6 years now I have been through MRIs, Cat Scans, EMGs etc. to try to find out why I have considerable leg pain and endurance/strength limitations. I was placed on Gabapenatin several years ago when they couldn’t figure out what was causing the pain so that it could reduce the pain. For a while I was feeling like people must think that I am making it up so I quit looking into it and started to live on this neurotin drug. I recently went back at trying to come up with a diagnosis so that I could get off of pills. I am 45 years old and do not want to go into old age with this as it can only get worse. I now have a neurologist that is taking several steps to solve this. I had a first round of testing and now they are going to biopsy my muscle and they are sending me to a neuromuscular specialist to investigate and rule out metabolic myopathy. If they don’t come up with a solution through that they are sending me to another city for a full workup. Does this sound anything like what your sister is facing and if so what came of her results?
