To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Since Age 4! I am now 23 years old and my mom says the first diagnosed migraine she remembers was when I was 4 years old. I was put on elavil when I was nine years old to help prevent them. I quit taking that when I turned 19. (after gaining 40 pounds in 3 years from the doseage increase). I am now on topamax which has seemed to help. I am now at a “stand still” with it because I am maxed out on my doseage. I have tried all of the imitex, zomig, axert, and all of the other migraine meds. They don’t seem to do the job. I feel for all you others out there. There is really nothing like a migraine pain that puts you in bed for a day or two. Just keep hope in your heart. Let God take care of you. Comments
